Education for All

INGAD offers high-quality education to children and young adults across secondary, vocational, and university levels through the achievement of the following charitable objectives:

Enhancing Education for Low-Income Backgrounds

To enhance the education of children and young people from low income backgrounds in identified locations including the UK:

  • Providing eligible students with scholarships, stipends, and/or grants for study at high school, college, university, or a comparable institution of further education.
  • Supporting them in acquiring additional skills and further education or to prepare them for entry to any occupation, trade or profession on leaving any educational establishment.
  • Advancing the education of the pupils in the identified schools of the towns and villages by building laboratories and providing education facilities like classrooms and school libraries.
Supporting Visually Impaired Individuals

To promote the education (including the social integration and physiotherapy) of visually impaired individuals under the age of 25 in identified locations, in such ways as the charity trustees think fit, including by:

  • Providing eligible students with scholarships, stipends, and/or grants for study at high school, college, university, or a comparable institution of further education.
  • Providing academic and vocational training, including artistic instruction, coupled with educational travel or career preparation upon graduation.
  • To assist, in such ways as the charity trustees think fit, any charity in identified locations that promote the education and holistic development of young people under 45 by funding and facilitating co-curricular and leisure activities.

Skills Acquisition

We aim to organise training, seminars, workshops, and mentoring in personal development, IT and IT related fields for the following class of people:

The unemployed The underemployed The marginalized

The events will be facilitated by volunteers who share the vision of INGAD. Attendees will pay a nominal fee to cover expenses whilst voluntary donations will go toward funding the education of the beneficiaries.

Additional Objectives

In addition, the skill development programmes are designed to assist disadvantaged individuals in securing employment and advancing socially. Other objectives to be fulfilled include:

  • To encourage lifelong learning for retirees and those past full-time employment by enhancing their skills, knowledge, and personal development in meaningful learning areas.
  • To enhance public understanding of computer science and digital literacy, especially among future professionals, whilst supporting research that advances knowledge and serves the public interest in this domain.

Empowering Small Businesses

Our vision in this area is to provide funding for small businesses to alleviate poverty in households and the identified communities. The operational objectives could include:

Grant Making

Providing direct financial assistance (grants) to eligible small businesses that meet specific criteria related to the charity's aims, whilst ensuring the funds are used as intended and progress is both monitored and documented.

Providing Support in Kind

Offering non-monetary assistance (e.g. equipment), and linking beneficiaries to experienced professionals to help new businesses succeed.

Developing Skills

Delivering training courses or workshops on business management, marketing, and financial literacy to expand the capacity of small business owners.

Measuring Impact

Establishing clear metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of the funding, such as tracking the number of jobs created, the increase in beneficiary income, or the social benefit delivered to the communities.

Building Partnerships

Collaborating with corporate partners in the identified locations or other local organisations that share similar values to expand funding potential and reach more beneficiaries.

Improving Social Amenities

The Challenge

The lack of social infrastructure, such as parks and libraries, continues to be a significant barrier to social mobility and poverty alleviation.

Our Approach

At INGAD, we collaborate with local and international donors to pinpoint community needs, secure funding, and facilitate the establishment and maintenance of vital social amenities.

Making a Difference

Offering resources such as after-school programmes, extracurricular activities, sports centres, and even small recreational items such as table tennis equipment can play a crucial role in enhancing the educational growth and development of children in these towns and villages – a role INGAD is committed to uphold.

We partner with impoverished communities to generate funding and construct essential social amenities such as schools, libraries, sports facilities, and town halls.
